Some of our staff have permanent (Swedish Derogation) contracts and others are employed on a temporary basis. Assessing role compatability is very important and experience is difficult at interview, so the process must be thorough. All our active workers undergo the following process:
Initial telephone check (This makes sure you have the minimum entry level requirements)Scheduled appointment (All candidates are only interviewed by appointment)Registration pack to be completedIn depth face to face interviewSocial care quiz completed5 year checkable history obtained Written references obtainedEnhanced CRB disclosure carried out (current cost £54)

The process for checking all candidates abilities and reliability doesn’t end at this point, once all successful candidates have received their enhanced CRB disclosures back along with the rest of the above and become active workers, they will regularly be verbally referenced by our Metrocare staff team to ensure they are using all their best attributes in their full advantage.

The process can unfortunately take a few months, largely depending on the length of time it takes for your enhanced CRB and references to come back.
