Understanding the difference between Residential and Nursing services is a vital part of providing the right staff to our clients. Due to the capabilities of our internal resources we have a key understanding of what is required and our established client base reflects the service we can provide.

Elderly care settings are recently having to cater for more residents suffering from dementia. At Metrocare we believe that the best treatment for this incurable disease is staff with a good understanding of dementia and how it affects the daily life of the sufferer. The work ethic we encourage and reward is not to treat dementia as a title but to take the time to understand possible reasons behind certain reactions. This simple but effective method is just another example of how we take a more personal and productive approach to fulfilling our clients requests.

Continuity of staff is another key factor in providing a reliable and trusted service. We offer many incentives for both our staff and internal employees as retention is paramount to our success and is what enables us to offer the first class service that we do. One example of our retention programme is the Employee of the Month scheme.

All Metrocare staff complete Enhanced CRB disclosures and are provided with all mandatory training which is consistently updated by our in house training department. In addition to this free service many of our staff are NVQ qualified or working towards this qualification.
