The Agency Worker regulations provides agency workers with the right to the same basic working and employment conditions that they would have been entitled to if they had been recruited directly by the organisation to do the same role...
The EU derived regulation appears to have been developed to drive workers into more permanent work and give agency workers increased working rights.
Metrocare is working alongside all our clients to ensure our nurses, care staff and support workers are provided with complete compliance and have total tranparency. We have provided client access to workshops, a complimentary client advisory service and transparency declarations to ensure that our clients are aware of their responsibilities and our staff are aware of their Day One & Week Twelve rights.
We have developed a number of solutions, however we are working on a "client by client basis" to ensure the best solution with the least impact for you and your service.
